Vacancy Details:
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the
- Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
- GATE is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) and evaluates the comprehensive understanding
- of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture; and
- both undergraduate and post-graduate level subjects in Science, Humanities, Commerce, and Arts. The
- GATE score reflects the relative performance level of the candidate in a particular test paper. GATE
- 2027 score will be valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of results.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree with B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm B.Arch B.Sc. (Research)/B.S. Pharm.D. (after 10+2) M.B.B.S./B.D.S./B.V.Sc. M.Sc./M.A./MCA Int. M.E./M.Tech. (Post-B.Sc.) M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm. or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2) M.Sc./Int. B.S./M.S. B.Sc. (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry) B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./BCA or equivalent or Currently in the 3rd/4th year or already completed students.
Selection Process:
Candidates must register and fill the application via ONLINE mode only at the application portal
on the official website of https://gate2027.iitm.ac.in/. Uploading certificates/documents must also be done in the ONLINE mode only.
• Register and enroll for the examination (Create a verified DigiLocker account for a smooth
registration process).
• Upload photograph, signature, photo ID, and category certificate (SC/ST/PwD) and/or Dyslexic
certificate, as applicable.
• Pay the application fee through the listed electronic payment modes.
• Check the status of the application form: Received/Under scrutiny/Accepted/Defect status/Status
after rectification/Rejected with valid reasons, etc.
• Download Admit Card.
• View answers, marks, and GATE score.
• Download GATE 2027 Score Card.
