Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates having a 5-year/ 10-semester/ 15-trimester bachelor’s degree programme in Law [LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.)] through regular mode from a recognized Indian University with minimum 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Or With 70% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer/PWD candidates).
- Candidates having a 3-year/ 6-semester/ 9-trimester bachelor’s degree programme in Law [LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.)] (following a 3 (or 4)- year bachelor’s degree through regular mode from a recognized Indian University with minimum 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Or With 70% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer/PWD candidates).
- Candidates having a Masters in Law degree (LL.M.) through regular mode from a recognized Indian University having secured an aggregate of at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade (50% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates).
- Candidates having passed the Solicitors Examination conducted by the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and having a completed a bachelor’s in Law [LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.)] degree from a recognized University through regular mode and final year student also apply.
Selection Process:
1. Candidates has to apply online through official website http://www.nlutripura.ac.in/.
2. Selection Process base on Exam/interview. Eligible candidates shall be shortlisted and called for an interview or admission.
3. Selection for admission shall be based on the candidate's academic credentials, validity of the fellowship, Entrance Exam, performance in the interview or Exam and fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility conditions.
4. The decision of the Institute/University regarding selection and admission shall be final and binding.
5. Candidates must register and fill the application via online mode only at the application portal on the official website.
6. And upload certificates/documents must also be done in the online mode.

- Rs 3,000/- (For General All India and, SC/ST of outside Tripura and other category of persons outside Tripura)
- Rs 2,500/- (For PRTC, SC/ST of Tripura & PWD candidates Only)
