  • General/OBC (Creamy Layer):
    • B.Tech/BE/ BS/MSc/MCA: 6 CGPA or above and
    • MTech/ME/ MS in CSE/IT/ ECE/EE/Relevant areas: 6.0 CGPA or above on a 10-point scale or 60% of marks
  • SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Category
    • BTech/BE/ BS/MSc/MCA: 5.5 CGPA or above and
    • MTech/ME/ MS in CSE/IT/ ECE/EE/Relevant areas: 5.5 CGPA or above
Students qualified NET/NBH/GATE or any other equivalent.

Selection Process:

About University / Institute: 

IIIT Raichur, located in the city of Raichur in Karnataka, is one of the youngest and budding IIITs proposed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The academic activity of the institute commenced in the year 2019 in August from the temporary campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Telangana, with its first batch being admitted to Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science and Engineering. Then, in September 2021, IIIT Raichur shifted to the Transit in GEC Yermarus Camp, Raichur, Karnataka, where all academic activities are currently taking place.
